ChatZeee
Invite-only anonymous encrypted messaging. No phone number, no email, and no names.
End-to-end encrypted messaging
Platforms: iOS / Web
The problem
We live in a world today where everything is getting hacked, yet most messaging apps still require a phone number, email, or real name. ChatZeee is an invite-only, encrypted anonymous messaging system built so you stay anonymous even if the servers get compromised.
The goal
Talk privately without ever handing over who you are.
Engineering contribution
Invite-only anonymous enrollment with zero personal identifiers, Apple Secure Enclave P-256 device keys, out-of-band QR verification, EXIF-scrubbed media encryption, and a zero-knowledge ciphertext relay.
Device identity
Each iOS device generates hardware-bound P-256 signing keys in the Secure Enclave and verifies append-only Key Transparency log heads and safety numbers.
Client encryption
Client cryptography handles ephemeral P-256 ECDH key wrapping, AES-256-GCM message and attachment sealing, in-memory EXIF/GPS stripping, and encrypted recovery vaults.
Ciphertext delivery
The relay stores only ciphertext envelopes, enforces epoch sequencing and burn-on-read expiration, dispatches opaque push wakeups, and shreds encrypted attachment blobs on redaction.
